East Rutherford, is the only municipality with fewer than 10,000 residents to be home to 4 professional sportst team simultaneously (the Meadowlands Sports Complex, includes the Izod Center, where the NBA's New Jersey Nets play their home games and Giants Stadium, home of the National Football League's New York Giants and New York Jets, as well as Red Bull New York of Major League Soccer (until 2010, when the Red Bulls will move to Harrison).
